126 International J.SPOT IMABARI International J.SPOT IMABARI 127 This Netz Toyota Ehime showroom and service shop is located on a trunk road in the suburbs of Imabari, Ehime Prefecture. The client wanted an inviting shop that harmonized well with the surrounding neighborhood. We took advantage of the irregularly shaped lot to erect six side-by-side frames that recede at an angle from the road, thereby improving visibility, blocking western sunlight, and creating green space. Our intention in designing the frames such that they connect lightly to the neighborhood and serve as an intermediate, semi-outdoor zone was to generate a rich roadside space that would be inviting to passersby and contribute to the liveliness of the neighborhood. The iron posts and beams are exposed, but their minimalist aesthetic mutes their presence, highlighting the displays and activity inside. The central multi-purpose space has six-meter-high ceilings and can be used for events. Its façade is pieced together from rectangles of various sizes, a design that takes intoconsideration visibility, structure, access, and landscaping. Films with different levels of reflectivity allow the glass to remain transparent but still reduce heat load, while curtains with a motif inspired by the Seto Inland Sea add to the diverse moods the structure presents to the street depending on the weather and time of day. The fusion of structural elements with window frames, as well as the absence of columns or strengthening ribs inside contribute to an impressively open space. The external frame of the curtain wall connects with the frame of the building overall, giving it a light feeling. The interior of the shop is designed so that one senses its openness to the neighborhood no matter where one stands. The heights and materials of the ceilings, floors, and seating are varied with a wide range of users in mind, resulting in a diverse space. The heterogeneous materials, most of which were locally produced, were chosen for their friendly ambiance and ability to stand up well to the passage of time.
SHANGHAI CLEARING HOUSE EXHIBITION ROOM
Shanghai Clearing House is the national financial clearing system under the supervision of the People's Bank of China. In response to the needs of business exhibitions and visits by national and international financial institutions, the exhibition hall of Shanghai Clearing House is planned and designed by CROX. Shanghai Clearing House is located at Shanghai Bund No. 28, within the historic protected building of the former Glen Line Building. CROX extensively applies digital technology under limited construction conditions. It extends the exhibition area, breaks away from traditional design methods, and establishes a highly artistic Shanghai Clearing House exhibition hall in the century-old building, which has been unanimously affirmed by the central banks and visiting institutions of all countries. Shanghai has developed into a city with profound humanistic history, with deeply embedded city genes, driving social thoughts. Through intensive meetings of exhibition planning, CROX constructs the exhibition positioning of Shanghai Clearing House, and puts forward the exhibition themes of WATCHER and VOYAGER. Unlike the general logic of exhibition planning, the exhibition hall of Shanghai Clearing House conveys the rich professional and historical content of Shanghai clearing house through WATCHER & VOYAGER. At the design level, the first letter of the two English words are taken, and the continuous W and V letter images are connected in series to form a trend line, which is integrated into the general visual language of the financial industry. It shuttles through the century-old building space, sometimes as the main body, sometimes as the side axis, creating the dynamic sense of the times of the exhibition. In different exhibition areas, digital technology is used extensively to transform complex financial business principles into fashionable visual symbols and interactive technology. The whole space has become a large installation art, including historical relics, image records, physical models, bronze sculptures and so on. It is a rare innovation exhibition format in China to use design symbols such as material, lighting, literary and historical expositions, digital design, space design and so on to arouse the potential cultural impression of visitors, trigger the sense of identity, and form a financial literary style full of passion The overall space is made up of V&W trend lines, with brass as the main material, which is the common building material in the old Bund buildings. From the entrance hall, visitors formally enter the historical corridor of clearing business, and the V&W guide lines always accompany around. CROX applies the new lines to the old buildings, while retaining the historical features of the old buildings as far as possible, and creates a dialogue space between the new and the old, which also conforms to the essence of the integration of the new and the old in Shanghai culture. CROX has different designs for the placement of different exhibits, so as to adapt to the exhibition of cultural relics of different sizes. While maximizing the use of space, the exhibition strives to display history in an all-round way. In addition to these precious historical materials, the addition of digital interactive devices complements the exhibition. Visitors can intuitively experience the history of Shanghai Clearing House with digital interactive devices, and deepen their impression of the services of Shanghai Clearing House. A large transparent interactive screen is embedded in the wall, and the circular video screen is placed in the lobby, giving visitors a macro understanding of the clearing business functions. The coffee shop displayed with creative articles and the Sunshine Bookstore meet in the atrium, providing delicate coffee and tea drinks, enriching the functions of the exhibition hall of the clearing house, where both management and service windows can be managed. It can also allow Chinese and foreign visitors to communicate here.

The origin of our project for the Schüco showroom interior was launched, when we won the two-stage competition with a dynamic proposal, working with disposition and form of fragmented masses, interlinked into one envelopping structure and deployed into a strictly delimited space on the ground floor of a polyfunctional building in the city of Bratislava. Our concept relies on the contrast between the rough exterior surroundings and a clean interior „shell“; in other words, the house and the garden. In our project, we tried to further develop this trivial contrast by continually forming, opening up and dynamizing the initial cubic enclosed masses. Our concept enhances contrasting colour and material of the interior white „shell“, a fragment of the house, inserted into the bleak and dark surroundings formed by rough plasters on the walls and ceramic tiles on the floors, which are more often characteristics of the exterior. Into the walls of the embedded white structure we have integrated the essential element of the showroom – functional real-size windows by Schüco in various sizes and styles. A visitor to the showroom is invited to try them out, walk through them and perceive them in a real-life environment. These windows, however, are not only on display, but are also functional and aesthetic components delimiting spaces such as intimate meeting rooms, a small kitchen with a kitchen island, and a lecture „patio“. The interior of the showroom entwines a logical pathway, which, however, doesn´t have to be strictly followed. The visitor can pass freely through the perforated white „shell“ into the dark surroundings and back again. During his/her „journey“, the visitor perceives a steel load-bearing bookcase, a large sliding corner window with an electric drive, more intimate spaces for private meetings furnished with oak accentuated mobiliari, a „patio“ used for lectures and projections, separable by drapery, a kitchen with bar seating, and a space offering immersion into virtual reality. Surrounding dark space of the inserted structure is complemented by freely distributed greenery, which softens and underlines its exterior character. Internal lighting is an integral part of the showroom. Theinserted object is illuminated from above and through circular apertures by solitary designer chandeliers. From the outside, the object is bordered by track lighting with movable reflector lights in suspended tracks, complementing the overall luminance.
SPACE PLUS is an enterprise that provides door system, cloakroom and cabinet system, wall protection scenario system with complete specifications and functions, and focuses on futuristic design of minimalism. Invisible with blurred boundaries. At present, everything opposite is gradually merged, and the boundaries between real and virtual worlds become blurred. So in such an exhibition hall about the door what we should do above all is to eliminate door concealed, eliminate the boundary feeling of the door and wall. In accordance with the concept of fuzziness and obliteration, the mirror film is used to create a distorted and unreal exterior that has been disappeared. Knock the mirror after, the material of sunshine board will enrich its dimensional detail. All the materials are used in accordance with the design and space. Invisible to change. There is no boundary in the world. To regain freedom, we need to break the boundary of thinking. Change is the eternal truth. Change is an unstoppable act; Is the derivation of more possibilities and the freedom of consciousness; It is the rich perception and free control of space. So we changed the combination of intangible exhibits and space by presenting 18 doors in different forms in the space, presenting a changing intangible internal structure. The gap between them is fracture. Cracks and crevices offer infinite possibilities for regeneration; We give space breathing and more possibilities with the details of breaking and disappearing. Between time, is the sun and the moon overlapping years, is the carrier of everything in the world. Each period of life is a unique repetition. We express the attributes of the time axis by the arrangement and change of order. Anything in space that has no relationship with people is not real and living. In short, we use space exhibits as the medium to create changing space, disappearing details, and different choices to guide different Spaces. With sermons and space atmosphere to give people to think and feel, in order to return to the word space to form a cycle and eternity.
Guangzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Center
The Guangzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Center was designed by He Jingtang, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The building not only reflects the characteristics of modern Lingnan, but also blends with the natural beauty of Baiyun Mountain. Designs like cantilevered overhead courtyard, landscape pool, landscape bridge, trails over the mountain, sky garden, pillarless exhibition hall, etc. are fully integrated with the surrounding rivers and Baiyun Mountain. For the exterior, the artificial shell house exterior walls and façade are used, forming the practical and transparent Lingnan features. The interior is designed with various sunroof openings, which increases light transmission and external fusion. In addition, the lines and shapes of these skylights are also modern. The Guangzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Center covers an area of 22,479 square meters, with a planned total construction area of 84,000 square meters and a layout area of approximately 23,000 square meters. The exhibition space design respects the architectural design concept, respects the building itself, and refines the design to create a new exhibition space where the city can be seen during the visit. The project is located at the foot of the beautiful Baiyun Mountain. In addition to the exhibition streamline emphasizing the combination of exhibition and viewing, the exhibition space also meets the requirements of controlling space at the exhibition hall through the meticulous design of the light volume and aperture of the skin and the arrangement of the indoor exhibition space, and allows the public to visit the exhibition while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the surrounding cities. Guangzhou is a city for herbal tea and a city for coffee. While guiding the audience to understand the past, the present and the future of Guangzhou's urban construction, the exhibition center also allows visitors to acquire relevant knowledge and cutting-edge concepts of urban planning and construction, and understand the difficulties and challenges of urban construction. It not only reflects the seriousness of planning, but also emphasizes public participation. A lot of wisdom is gathered during the exhibition. For the urban historical exhibition area, Feng Jiang, a teacher from South China University of Technology, and his team are specially hired as expert consultants. The plan is to deploy the top strength of Guangzhou’s planning and construction field, and combine a large amount of academic resources to deeply explore the connotation of Guangzhou city. The exhibition center, with various functions, is a place for planning and exhibitions, foreign exchange, and urban designers to work in Guangzhou. Besides, it is also a popular place for Guangzhou residents. The exhibition center has various functions: political and civil interaction, planning publicity, public participation, and fun interaction; academic exchanges: design competition organization and release, major city node research decision, Lingnan City and Architecture Forum, Guangzhou Design Week; science popularization education (students): college students’ internship base, second class for primary and secondary school students, youth interactive experience center, and professional library. It is an international new cultural landmark that is “sunny, close to the people, always new, and interactive”. The planning exhibition center is divided into four floors: the first floor is the urban functional area (Preface Hall, Cultural Creation Center and Temporary Exhibition Area), and the second floor is historical and humanities exhibition area (Guangzhou Overview, Urban History, Urban Planning History, Famous City Planning, Architectural History, Long Volume of the Development of the Pearl River during the late Qing Dynasty), the third floor is the urban planning exhibition area (Guangzhou Global Sand Table, Overall Planning, Municipal Transportation, Key Development Areas, Urban Science), and the fourth floor is the urban planning and creative space. China’s first light-transmissive concrete urban texture wall The open and transparent preface hall extends the architectural texture, and the Guangzhou urban pattern is hidden in the front transparent concrete wall. After the lights are on, the city of Guangzhou from the Qin Dynasty and Han Dynasty has gradually expanded. The LED screen below shows the skyline of Guangzhou’s growth, and the city's changes in the one thousand years are perceived. The bronze sculpture “Six-Vein Map” puts the six “vein” of water supply, water transport, drainage, fire prevention and wind shelter on the urban fabric, which has made the urban patter of “six veins leading the sea with half the green mountain in the city” at the foot of Yuexiu Hill in Guangzhou. The antique city model has finely restored the urban texture of the “millennial road” from Tianzi Wharf to Beijing Road. The historical landmarks such as administrative commissioner's office, Guangzhou municipal government, West Lake Academy and Guangzhou Palace are re-emerging, leading audiences to experience the style of the ancient city of Lingnan and feel the historical glory of the ancient city. The Guangzhou version of the “Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival”, with the help of digital technology, reproduces the prosperous scenery on both sides of the Pearl River in Guangzhou in the 19th century, and dynamically interprets the characters, ships, architectural styles and urban landscapes on both sides of the Pearl River, making people feel immersive and feel the bustling of Guangzhou, the birthplace of the Maritime Silk Road. On the back of the exhibition hall, the folk handicraft “Guangzhou Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival”, which is engraved with “50 Characters, 29 vessels, and more than 140 banyan trees”, once again revitalizes the customs and prosperity of the north bank of the Pearl River during the Kangxi and Qianlong period in the Qing Dynasty. Architecture is the historical memory of the city. At the AR model corridor on the outside of the corridor, with AR technology, scan it with the mobile phone and you can feel the evolution of Guangzhou's architectural style under the influence of different styles from all over the world — the characteristics of Lingnan Water Village, the combination of Chinese and Western styles, the integration of European and American styles... And you can also feel the opening of the big city and its inclusive urban temperament. Global Model Show of Guangzhou A new 1:3800 “Great Guangzhou” global model is built, which will enrich the 7434 square kilometers of Guangzhou on a global physical sandbox with the “Guangzhou: Global Hub and Network City” promotional video to depict the majestic blueprint of Guangzhou's urban development. Through it, visitors can also feel the confidence and determination of Guangzhou to build an international city. The “Tramcar Driving” restore the operation of the Guangzhou tram, allowing the public to view Guangzhou’s beautiful scenery on both sides of the tram from different perspectives, and better understand the planning and design of the tram during the interesting driving experience. Flying Guangzhou 2050 China’s first planning museum flight theater makes the public leap into the future of Guangzhou in 2050 to feel the changes in urban construction and urban style, and think about the future “Guangzhou Dream”. “One-River, Two-Banks and Three-Belts” Urban Theme Park The “One-River, Two-Banks and Three-Belts” model, which is about 40 meters long, is also very eye-catching. It has created the city’s elite areas such as Zhujiang New Town, Pazhou Area, Baietan Lake and Changdi, with three 10-kilometer boutique Pearl River as the ties to show the most prosperous and beautiful style of this modern international city - Guangzhou.
CRRC Scientific, Technological & Cultural Exhibition Center
Since China proposed the “One Belt One Road” strategy in 2013, CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co.,Ltd. has kept creating legend in the field of global railway transportation, and has grown into the “going out” representative of Chinese equipment manufacturers. In 2017, Fengyuzhu was devoted to creating the first modernized professional pavilion of Chinese railway transportation equipment enterprise, namely a science, technology and culture exhibition center of CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co.,Ltd., at the speed of the “pacemaker of Chinese exhibition industry”. This project is located at the place near to Xiangjiang River, Tianxin, Zhuzhou. The exhibition pavilion is known as the “Super Bowl” when looking from its outline and is also known as the “Eye of intelligence” when looking from top. Without using vertical column, the principal building of exhibition pavilion is formed by the deformed steel structure, with the height 16.45m, building area 3,300 m² and exhibition area 2,400m². In order to show the scientific strength, cultural deposits and “responsibility · leading in race” of railway transportation equipment’s empire, three sectors are designed, i.e.: Going ahead along with world, Going ahead along with the dream and Going ahead along with the future. The first floor shows the theme of “Going ahead with the world” and it starts with the film of “Image in Zhuzhou Locomotive”. This film shows the Chinese force of Zhuzhou Locomotive in the development of global railway transportation. “Leader’s concern & interactive massage system” collects not only the precious images of CPC and state leaders when visiting Zhuzhou Locomotive in previous years, but also record their praises to Zhuzhou Locomotive. Additionally a patent wall formed by 199 patent certificates engraves the highly affirmation of the State for the scientific and technological innovation strength of Zhuzhou Locomotive on everyone’s mind. The well integration of clear glass and steel structure for Chinese vehicle under “One Belt One Road” strategy shows the spirit and content expressed by architecture and exhibition itself. Whichever you pass through or linger here, you will feel the incisive and vivid expression of Zhuzhou Locomotive for its “going out” pattern and ambitiousness. Started with the feel of deep lens and the film space by sand table with a great visual angle, a "Representative works going out" shows comprehensively the globalization development strategy of Zhuzhou Locomotive in the “Cave” plaza. The second floor shows the theme of “Going ahead along with the dream” and it starts with the “eyes of intelligence”. An impassioned historical play named by “Legendary Zhuzhou Locomotive”, a pool of star-studded customized sand table showing the railway transportation industry cluster, and a piece of handwriting work with profound meaning named by “century-old Tianxin” by Huang Yongyu will bring the honors and dreams of several generations of Zhuzhu Locomotive employees to us, and will show us the reminiscence for their inheritance and struggle. The "century-old business" uses the representative locomotive prototypes at the five development stages in the past as the design elements and relies on the quiet change of material and outline to recall us the memories for the past. The “century-old factory building” uses the well integration of hand-painted walls and miniature recovery walls to show the building process of Datie factory building in 1936. The “great country craftsman” relies on the vivid images and physical materials to show the craftsmanship spirit and great demeanor of the workers at the production line. The “long gallery for popular science of railway” focuses on showing the origin and classification of railway, and it can give you all answers about the railway. The “interactive photo” allows you to acquire the wonderful memories about Zhuzhou Locomotive by scanning the QR code. The third floor is the exhibition hall of “Going ahead along with the future”, it is an infinite diversified open-style experience space full of the sense of science and technology and dynamics and comprises multiple multimedia interaction zones, such as “Product Show”, "Commends of experts", "Super DreamWorks", “Innovative laboratory” and “Hello the future”. The “Product show” is a customized product release space unit created for the pavilion, owning 11 kinds of core product prototypes in the center of stage and using the electroplated glass panel, floor panel and ceiling panel, as well as the stage lighting to sketch the contours of a sound-light show area. Here you will watch a film named by “Linking with the world · Going with you together” to enjoy the experience of having a happy journey to the world by taking the train. Afterwards, the “hundred locomotive wall” formed by almost one hundred of locomotives will leave you witness the great development of Chinese railway transportation. Moreover the “Spatio-temporal tunnel” creates the dark space surrounded by the light and shadow, where the amazing blue light brings you a magic as if the railway running at full speed freezes in camera. You will not only appreciate the photography works of Zhuzhou locomotive running at full speed collected from the whole world, but also perceive the change of time by touching the interactive panel. On the other end of the product release unit, a surrounded exhibition wall in the form of locomotive and train compartment is provided on the basis of Changsha magnetically levitated train, a kind of the latest product of Zhuzhou Locomotive. In the compartment, the “Super DreamWorks” exhibits the powerful scientific research resources, professional talent team and perfect R&D system of enterprise through the magic-mirror wall. The “Innovative Laboratory” carries the cutting-edge technology of railway transportation through the galloping information flow data. The “Hello the future” uses the VR technology and the dynamic seats to let experiencer feel the great change brought by future railway transportation to the life. Currently the core exhibition items in the “Super Bowl” are so attractive to the public and are highly praised, and the “Super Bowl” is even called as “5A Scenic Area” by guests. Moreover the "High-speed Railway Experiencer Group" from Hong Kong of China came to Zhuzhou Locomotive to experience the particular charm of “Super Bowl”. The first exhibition of Chinese railway transportation equipment enterprise created with the innovative ideology and the future vision will show the comprehensive strength of Zhuzhou Locomotive and carry forward the development vision of Zhuzhou Locomotive to the world at the “pacemaker” speed.

Led by “the Godsent Beauty, the Earthly Heritage, the Flourishing People and the Harmonious Coexistence” with the timeline of the past, present and the future and the urban and rural planning and construction of Honghe Prefecture, we are dedicated to creating a modern professional exhibition hall that can “recall the pas and foresee the future” First, it is dominated by terraces to display the cultural heritages. “Hani Terrace” is a magnificent undertaking by mankind to adapt to the environment, fully demonstrating the beautiful harmony between man and nature. It is a precious natural heritage of mankind and the pride of Honghe Prefecture. At the 37th World Heritage Convention on June 22, 2013, it was successfully listed into the World Heritage List. Hani terrace serves as the prototype for the Honghe Exhibition Hall, fully showing Hani Terrace’s freely layered natural form. Meanwhile, “high-tech + modernization + network” is used as the expression method to reshape and reproduce the terraced field art with a deep mark of Honghe Prefecture’s regional and humanistic spirit. Second, it is eco-friendly and environmentally friend while emphasizing energy-saving and efficiency. Being ecological, green and environmentally-friendly has already become an important principle for the sustainable development of cities and architecture in the 21st century, and it is also the eternal direction and goal of human’s future development. As an “urban and rural planning exhibition hall for the future”, Honghe Exhibition Hall has always been eco-friendly, energy-saving and efficient. Third, it is edutainment-oriented while attaching importance to interpersonal interaction. As a large public-welfare urban and rural planning exhibition hall for the future we will turn the third floor into a comprehensive exhibition area integrating featured planning, county and city planning, future urban experience and interactive experience to make citizens have a more comprehensive, deeper, intuitive and vivid understanding of the history of Honghe City, its current development and future development. For example, tourists can sit on the dream locomotive at the “Beautiful Honghe” theme flight theater on the second floor to get a panoramic view of the 13 counties of Honghe city and experience a sensory feast over the city. At the future city experience area on the third floor, we have especially created a shared park of green city integrating leisure, entertainment and interaction. After getting tired, they can come here to read a book, listen to a folk song and take a beautiful picture to end the journey. My goal has always been to create a city hall where ordinary people can understand all the things and love to come. When they enter the hall with curiosity, they can get a surprising experience and after they leave the hall with pleasure, their smiles will be full of the happiness of living in this city and the confidence in a beautiful future. I am pleased to be a designer and have also realized the value of my efforts. Look up to see that piece of cloud. Honghe is quiet and beautiful just like a dream. The most beautiful impression is only for you.
Comer' exhibition hall
COMER is more than an intelligent audio and video exhibition hall, its atmosphere is full of life. I simulate product experience within various scenarios, and the feedback from customers show that staying here, they are able to image the changing of home after purchasing the products. The building is an enormous glass box. Outside of it is Minibar. Residents live nearby describe that the shiny bar tables and chairs, and the spherical lamp from a distance feel like beautiful night sky. The Chinese characters mean “comer”and the dancing designer is a “comer” The entrance is a quite tall gate, it appears to be a stalwart general standing there, gives people the feeling of noble ceremony. COMER’s Clear French windows import sunshine to the interior of building, achieved the aim of energy conservation and environment protection. I arranged bamboos and lawns around the building so the chaotic construction plant won’t be seen. There is one area of the interior of the building covered by lawns too; therefore the graceful outdoor environment extends to the inside space, it is peaceful, natural, builds a “retreat away from the world”. In one of my rooms, a specially designed huge glass presents the wonderful outside landscape, which also can be turned into a projection screen by electrical control, changing the room into audio-visual room with more possibilities.
Volkswagen has always been a truly visionary brand with a penchant for design. In this ever changing world, where new technologies rapidly transform the style of living and customers’ expectations, Volkswagen decided to create a unique project,Volkswagen Home, and invitedmode:lina™ studio architects from Poznań to design it. Volkswagen Home is a new philosophy of presenting Volkswagen cars, and it premieres on the Polish automotive market. In a prestigious Karolkowa Business Park in Warsaw, mode:lina™ studio designed the frst such Volkswagen concept store in the world. The energy of the city of Warsaw is an ideal match to the design of Volkswagen newest cars – also full of energy, vibrant and ideally in line with the city and its vibe. Volkswagen gives its users a sense of security, and being in the car feels likehome. Volkswagen Home is like no other known car showroom. Using the 200 square meters space, mode:lina™ studio designers created an intimate area which combines a homely atmosphere with solutions inspired by Volkswagen style. Using this new method and building a smaller showroom allowed to enhance the individual approach to clients, who in a home-like space ofVolkswagen Home can customise their dreamed car. mode:lina™ designers coupled the use of wood and real moss in the showroom with flling the space with elements relating to the style and technology of Volkswagen and its fagship car models. A wall made of horizontal long panels is modelled on the characteristic grille in Volkswagen Arteon, the precursor of changes when it comes to Volkswagen cars design. The style of Arteon models and the new T-Roc can also be seen in the showroom’s lighting. Its form employs a new design lines seen in Volkswagen latest cars. Technological inspirations complement the homely atmosphere and are further seen in the minimalistic form of lighting. Its most recognisable element are adjustable light fxtures which adapt to the shape of the Volkswagen displayed beneath them!
Risheng Liking Teahouse. Reconstruction of Scrap Collection Station
“Risheng Liking” Tea Life Museum is located in the noisy downtown center; it was reconstructed from an old building that was ever used as scrap collection station. The designer fully dug out the rich flavor and subtle connotation of the old building; in combination with warm and broad trait and characteristics of tea, the designer referred to the pattern of traditional courtyard, and created a homelike and joyful life experience space. The dull glory and dream of the old building, through reconstructionof a modern courtyard, with sentimental association of tea, generates clear leisurely joy and lofty spirit and pure emotion. Under the structure of more than 10 meters, the modern courtyard and mottled walls complement each other. Each unit block of the courtyard has different functions and modeling, with free conversion between brisk and dignified styles. In order to protect the old building, all the newly built units remain almost one meter away from the old walls. The original sloping roof structure had been well preserved, and became a carrier to continue and express memory and emotion. The screen wall facing the gate in traditional courtyard was converted into a concise white;the white wall is connected with the entrance of corridor; the coherent and uniform style highlights modern minimalist beauty. The display space formed by pine wood and glass harmoniouslyinteracts with outdoor landscape; the street landscape and natural light enter the inside through the refraction and diffusion of glass and yield unusually brilliant results. The unit that corresponds to the display space is a floating glass box. With deliberate weakening of the presence of the base, the frosted effect of the glass adds some mysterious atmosphere to the box. There are two elegant tea rooms in the box, and the quiet streets outside the window are green and provide an ideal place for the tea lovers who seek tranquility here.On the other side of the screen wall, there is a relatively enclosed office. Huang Feng cleverly used a double-interlayer wall is pasted with Chinese art paper, and hide lights in the wall; the dense shadow seems to be full of interest and charm of antique taste and warmth. "Sitting on rock for fishing, enjoying clean water and leisurely mind”; this is one of the ways for literati to pursue the mild, profound and lasting realm. The designer created a “lake” in the courtyard; in the daytime, the light obliquely enters into the water and shadow is cast onto the rock; at night, the lights in the surrounding seems to be oblique and the house is reflected on the water surface; magnanimousness, coziness, gentleness and freshness are diffused in the whole space; tea is not the focus, what people care is the consciousness and wonderful mood that could be felt by drinking tea. "Actually, this style originally existed in marble, and I just removed the unnecessary parts." Michelangelo, the architect, thought that the essence of creation is to restore the work itself. In this modern tea life museum full of story, it is the designer’sprofound comprehension about idiosyncracy of the architecture and the tea culture that created a fashionable, simple andartistic place of practice perfection.
