Located in Shikumen building in Jingan District, Shanghai, 1305 studio office is set to be the space with multi creative functions. The space acts not only for architecture, interior or graphic design, but also for lots of other purposes, fashion show, art exhibition, cocktail lounges, professional lectures, etc. With the interest of Shanghai Lane Culture, the architects tried to make this 300 qm2 space into a harmonious combination of tradition and modern. The result turns out that it was not a bad attempt. The language of the space is the box. Boxes lying around, either piled up or separated freely, and it makes the space of unlimited possibilities. People in the space can easily find a way to adapt and communicate properly, and share joy with others. The concept of this design was inspired by a glass cup. The temporary living space is just as a glass cup without the so-called "space order", but with many limitless possibilities. Just as "a glass of water," when it falls into the water, on the contrary it will get limitless possibilities. Putting different substances into the cup will have a new name, may be "a glass of milk, juice, beer" or others. “Work Space” Work space is just Like acup of water, when we work in this "cup ", we can see the so-called desks, file cabinets, etc. But for both the desk and file cabinets, designers designed space accurately, so that it could free combine, to meet the demands over the next five years or even 10 years later.

MR.MOUSTACHE OFFICE SPACE
In front of the garden, the insects are chirping on the green grass while the fragrance of the flowers spread all over the backyard. Now a days, we’ve already moved away from this type of the environment. High buildings build up with pale walls and concrete become the places we lived with everyday. Without spirit of the life, the meaning of the survival become meaningless. We wanted to create a garden of life, letting it become the most glorious color on this deserted society. This case, Mr.Moustache Flower Store, chosen a old factory as the office space, which is next to the park of west side of the Canal. While the modernized E-business met with the historical old factory, the new faced the old, should we use absolute newness as the main idea? Or should we letting loft style with the obsolete idea as the final plan? However, as a contemporary office area, to be fashionable and also enjoyable is the most important thing. How could we design the environment that fit the need of a work space, but also remain the style of the architecture, in the main time, connect with the natureenvironment around it?
Faced with the old industry loft space with high ceiling, Lin decided to use a simple but ritual special distribution after sophisticated thoughts. He made the 12 -meter wide stairs as the core concept of the whole design so as to smartly extend the transitional usage of additional oors, making it possible for the space to both function in a connectedly exible and vertical way. The large stairs matched with the hall capability come into being a multifunctional reception area with party, communication and learning. The stairs stu ed have been considered as a media carrying countless events and memories. The vertical glass measurement is enmeshed onto the horizontal stairs, sharply forging a 12-meter long passage. It comes along from the outside toward inside, from the wide door hall into the relatively narrow aisle and at the end reach to the spacious bright work space. The space layout gives people a mixed feeling of initially cheering but then controlling and again cheering up vibes, with rhythmic moving process of a psychological hint that people start and nish the work in this very space within a day. A fter ten years’ business foundation, MOMA Design has o cially changed its name into “Design Together”, newly headquartereditself into a tremendous space at M50 Shanghai with a combination of various featured design companies. This has launched the first case of two design top talents from different field coming together to cooperate in the o ce function project and eventually create the space together by Chinese pioneering architect Lin TsungJen and renowned furniture designer Hou Zhengguang. With regard to the constructional material, designers adopt passages are decorated with composite boards and faultage, bringing thea plain architecture aesthetic to return an innocent yet realdesign idea. The post-industrial work environment differs from the mediocre metropolitan concrete office buildings, representing the most avant-garde creativity of the city. Hence the textures of the material has been given sophisticated thoughts and eventually erases the old oil paint surface and recover the original mud texture and add a bit wood material, naturally breeding a cohesive human culture atmosphere within the mixed texture of the walls and floors. Stairs andbasic construal material into a higher premier space entirety. “Together” metaphor also lies in the assemble faultage overlap features. Space are decorated with green tea hue glasses and black iron items to create a strong modern design style and green plants walls and the sh tank brings a fresh nature air. The assembly of various natural materials makes the space raw yet refined, crafted yet naturally carved, concluding an entire space with deep quality of life style, which all comes back the very first design idea of Hou Zhengguang: Perfect fusion of working and living. The illuminating design is accord with the original lights layout by using grid system so as to avoid the shadow caused by the pillars. Cabling channels smartly become the foundation of the LED light to refrain the mess of the cables and even matches the uncovered mud ceiling into the style of well-organized modernity. Underneath the additional stair board are adorned with neutral color light belt with high luminance. The collateral equipment offers mild light and meanwhile has solved the illumination problem in the limited space. In the important reading area there will be pendant lights and projection lamps alongside the mud pillars to build cube e ect and sense of space depth like a gorgeous dramas stage setup with high ceiling. Designers give meticulous thoughts on some detailed parts such as the pillars’ edge is dealt with round shape given both the security and aesthetics. Bathroom project is carried with the idea of “design together” yet “harmony in diversity”. Industrial style designed wash basins go with the di erent kinds of water taps and urinals to grab the whole space design concept and at the same time enthusiastically a perfect multi- visual pleasure amongst the various function and zones.
Xiamen Pioneer Design Consultant Office
The case design while retaining the original old plant coarse wall and old objects at the same time adding several new building box combination game, constitute the unique ponder of o ce space, and on the basis functions satisfy the reasonable processing the tightness of the space, light and shade, static and dynamic relationship, both practical and elegant.
The whole space takes white as the main keynote, without rough and luxuriant decorations and trivial functions, using a simple and pure form as the expression. In the exhibition hall of the first floor, there is no eccentric modeling and willful arc lines, and no useless decoration, either. Everything is returned to the base point. We try to use the least material, and set aside more space for the soul. The reception foreground runs through the whole transverse space strikingly, and what matches is the background: the sunlight projects the dancing tree shadows onto the white curtain freely. The lapse of the time endues it with different scenes, letting us sense the existence of the radiation most purely and most fundamentally.
Camerich Headquarters of Shanghai
This is a kind of centripetal space organized by geometric solids in a simple, platonic style, conveying rich and complicated meaning in a very simple manner. Its main color is white, which embodies freshness, purity, simplicity and health, and in the meantime, it displays various expressions, bringing a sense of novelty to the whole structure and witnessing the change of light. The exterior facade, with several windows in it only, applies the art of leaving blank space in large area, to achieve a sense of tranquility and incredibility and to interweave the tangible and the intangible, reaching the artistic state that “blank space yields wonderland.” Therefore, in spite of its simplicity, it makes shocking and memorable impression on people. The most profound philosophy may find expression in the simplest matter; all matters in the environment are steeped in the complete serenity. The pivot points of stairs are designed in an inverted “V-shape”, which is not an act of a ectation. Instead, based on the philosophy of people- orientation and the practicality, it is to reshape the connection of the objects in the space and strengthen the concept of modern space by virtue of the interweaving, transformation and restoration of geometric solids. The view borrowing through windows of horizontal and vertical bars, dislocations of space, simplicity of the penetrating light, and the merge of varied views, all the tangible and the intangible come together, complementing each other. Go up the stairs, and here comes the exhibition hall, which continues to express the people-oriented philosophy, realizing the flexibility and adaptability of the spatial division. Combining the function of exhibition and directional movement line, the entire hall spreads orderly in length and breadth. And the medium close-up, medium-shot, and long-shot displayed evolve gradually, producing mixed feelings in people and diversified communications among them.
XI 'An High-tech Simple Room of Soho Mocha
In a two storeys of 179 square meters space, the rst oor is for working, which provides a nice environment for working together but a separated space for every person. The eight well-proportioned separated rooms have eight functions( ve rooms for working, while other three rooms are for thinking, for stairs, and for toilet separately) and they are connected by a six-meter long corridor, forming a separated but opened working space. With a wild area of white wall, as well as the two storeys white Buddhist sutra, the thinking room formally achieved “the peace in heart”. In every separated space, the light which is from a lamp re ected the chair, the desk, as well as the person on the white wall, forming a different world in one’s own mind. The function of the second floor is mainly for external exchanges, the drying cabinet, the leisure activities as well as the meeting discussion or communication. With the partial lights from the first white Buddhist sutra, this place formed a free space, in which people can have a rest or free-thinking here. We aimed to make this project achieving the concept of “the small means too much“ in space- distribution, a friendly-environmently material choosing as well as the di erence in our means of working. Essentially, building is a kind of separation. In today’s modern life, People always skipped in different space and busied with their various works. Sometimes we cannot enjoy the free breathing in our nature, among the concrete buildings, we give our last hope to our own space to enjoy our quite breathe. This project is a sample of the workroom, small enterprise or loft apartment. We de ne our project as a designer, artist and curator +...+..which is Named as "white box". Through this so-called "box", We intend to express an unclear boundaries among our various jobs, the uncertainty of people’s working state, as well as the possibility and diversity of multi-industry. The color white is a combination of all colors while it is also a de ciency of them all.
Fuzhou Yimeijia Building Materials Co., Ltd.
Introduction: People's imagination of office often begins from a warm reception desk and area. However, the office of Fuzhou Yimeijia grates people with white walls, grey tiles and stairs without handrail. This adventurous idea was from the creation of designer Lin Kaixin. The main business of Fuzhou Yimeijia is trade of building materials, but the boss is often "absent-minded". He traveled around many countries and is a fancier of photography. He's only requirement for office design is elegant and quiet, which coincidence with Lin Kaixin, a design in pursuit of ""harmonious living aesthetics. In order to create a clean, concise space with affinity, the designer applies traditional white wall and grey tile tone into the space, and matches with the warm wood color. In structure, the blurred division of funny combinations and traditional architecture scale is used, allowing viewers to experience the fun of space game. In the ceilinged entrance hall, grey antique bricks are used for the ground, the original white ceiling was shoveled away, exposing the original concrete. The way of sanding made the ceiling achieve the dustproof effect while has special and delicate texture. There are two white walls in the central foyer and a narrow staircase without handrail is in the middle. This seemingly risky design actually solved the obstruction hindering the movement of people to the attic caused by the roof beams. The staircase separates in the middle to both sides. In the middle of the tall white walls, it is like a gateway leading to elsewhere to attract the visitor of viewers. Through the dim light between the white walls and ceilings, we can see the walls do not really connect with the walls, and the edges are embedded with steel strips, highlighting the distinctive and upright body block shape. In order to improve the three-dimensional spatial sense, the hall has no lighting device, only the faint white light from the distant wall lamppost, allowing the view to relax in this serenity. The attic uses lattice pattern, a traditional cultural totem, in the way of bricking, enriching the expression of space. To ensure safety, the lattice grating has enough thickness. When the attic light is on, the light will be mapped on the walls through the thick grid, revealing modern and warm space temperament. It makes visitors recall the familiar old times: it is like the "thin strip of sky" in odd stones or the slanting sunlight shadow in ancient alleys, how time flies! Despite the small size, the designer made full use of each space and rational planning lines to ensure every functional area to be effectively arranged. The first floor is the general manager's office, offices of persons in charge of building material brands, finance department, tea room and bar lounge area. One side of the attic is the store sales office area and the other side is the conference room. The bar in the right side is made of grey artificial stones, stylish, concise and cool. Opening the closet, there are coffee make, microwave and other kitchen utensils, meeting the needs of lunch, afternoon tea and small gatherings. The end of the right side is the office of general manager, an eyeful of wood color. The aisle of storage room is cave-like. Because of the small width, the designer used the way of body block cutting. The wood in the left is cut and moved out like a whole piece of wood. Visitors can reach the attic seating area via the start. This kind of isolated while linked space shows a solemn sense of field to a certain extent, while providing more experience scale to visitors. The extended plank on the door makes it a special landscape on the wall. Both sides of the tearoom walls use linen material to create a natural atmosphere. The customized tea table feet are made of the blocks of find steel, light and modern, creating an illusion of suspension. In order to ensure unobstructed landscape view, the attic area does not extend to the junction with the glass, but has a reasonable distance with the glass. Look from the window, you can find another scene in this casual corner. By the wood lattice, you can vaguely see the conference room in the second floor. This kind of vague division is a false impression intentionally made by the designer. However, there is always light at the end of the tunnel, even the unconventional imagination, but life itself should always have surprises, why not?
