Shanghai Clearing House is the national financial clearing system under the supervision of the People's Bank of China. In response to the needs of business exhibitions and visits by national and international financial institutions, the exhibition hall of Shanghai Clearing House is planned and designed by CROX. Shanghai Clearing House is located at Shanghai Bund No. 28, within the historic protected building of the former Glen Line Building. CROX extensively applies digital technology under limited construction conditions. It extends the exhibition area, breaks away from traditional design methods, and establishes a highly artistic Shanghai Clearing House exhibition hall in the century-old building, which has been unanimously affirmed by the central banks and visiting institutions of all countries. Shanghai has developed into a city with profound humanistic history, with deeply embedded city genes, driving social thoughts.

Through intensive meetings of exhibition planning, CROX constructs the exhibition positioning of Shanghai Clearing House, and puts forward the exhibition themes of WATCHER and VOYAGER. Unlike the general logic of exhibition planning, the exhibition hall of Shanghai Clearing House conveys the rich professional and historical content of Shanghai clearing house through WATCHER & VOYAGER. At the design level, the first letter of the two English words are taken, and the continuous W and V letter images are connected in series to form a trend line, which is integrated into the general visual language of the financial industry. It shuttles through the century-old building space, sometimes as the main body, sometimes as the side axis, creating the dynamic sense of the times of the exhibition. In different exhibition areas, digital technology is used extensively to transform complex financial business principles into fashionable visual symbols and interactive technology. The whole space has become a large installation art, including historical relics, image records, physical models, bronze sculptures and so on. It is a rare innovation exhibition format in China to use design symbols such as material, lighting, literary and historical expositions, digital design, space design and so on to arouse the potential cultural impression of visitors, trigger the sense of identity, and form a financial literary style full of passion

The overall space is made up of V&W trend lines, with brass as the main material, which is the common building material in the old Bund buildings. From the entrance hall, visitors formally enter the historical corridor of clearing business, and the V&W guide lines always accompany around. CROX applies the new lines to the old buildings, while retaining the historical features of the old buildings as far as possible, and creates a dialogue space between the new and the old, which also conforms to the essence of the integration of the new and the old in Shanghai culture.

CROX has different designs for the placement of different exhibits, so as to adapt to the exhibition of cultural relics of different sizes. While maximizing the use of space, the exhibition strives to display history in an all-round way. In addition to these precious historical materials, the addition of digital interactive devices complements the exhibition. Visitors can intuitively experience the history of
Shanghai Clearing House with digital interactive devices, and deepen their impression of the services of Shanghai Clearing House.

A large transparent interactive screen is embedded in the wall, and the circular video screen is placed in the lobby, giving visitors a macro understanding of the clearing business functions. The coffee shop displayed with creative articles and the Sunshine Bookstore meet in the atrium, providing delicate coffee and tea drinks, enriching the functions of the exhibition hall of the clearing house, where both management and service windows can be managed. It can also allow Chinese and foreign visitors to communicate here.
