The white house is located at the foot of Wan’an Mountain in Yibin District of Luoyang, an ancient city. From the beginning of the design, there are two references to the building. One is the mountain body it is situated on. It is not very high and the terraces fall off one after another. Therefore, the architectural scale exposed at the foot of the mountain should be converged. Let the mountain body and the building (long) be together. The other reference is the village opposite to the building. Certain independence. At the same time, we should live in harmony with the opposite villages. Therefore, we should strictly control the scale proportion of the building.

White houses are careful and modest to blend into the mountain. Almost all the trees of nature are preserved, and the whole building is enclosed by white walls. The walls are carefully designed with three heights. They not only maintain the interaction between the outside world, but also retain the privacy of the inside. The whole building uses a large area of white to blend into nature. It brings people dreams. Lightness and breathing like that. Poetic and distant. The entrance to the White House is particularly invisible. It is not disturbing to pass by. The plain and modest stone floor is pure white wall under the blue sky. All make visitors seem particularly friendly.

The building is divided into two floors. On the first floor, the number and location of windows are carefully designed on the basis of the original buildings. Let the sunshine and air enter the room, the location of the reception area, added floor glass. Shop windows, that is to enhance the use of indoor functions, colleagues also blurred the boundaries between indoor and outdoor, so that visitors in the indoor space also how to stay outdoors.

The white box on the second floor became the highlight of the whole building. It was suspended in mid-air like a mountain telescope. The three “facades” of the box have been carefully designed. The
facades on both sides of the box are made of transparent floor glass, the orientation and size of the windows. It depends on the mountain and nature outside the window. It’s just a view to the east. In the west, there are trees, while in the north, narrow horizontal windows are opened carefully and low-key, so that the village opposite can be seen as a picture scroll.
