Located in Lendinara, Italy, PDS House was realized by inserting an open-air courtyard within the shell of an existing industrial building. By preserving the heritage envelope, QB Atelier created an internal garden that integrates the surrounding landscape into the internal structure. Situated in a residential area facing the historic Ca’ Dolfin-Marchiori garden, the project avoids demolition in favor of preserving industrial memory.

스튜디오는 기존 건물을 철거하는 대신, 산업적 기억을 보존하면서 공간적 제약을 창의적 동력으로 활용하는 방식을 택했다. 광장을 향해 세워진 불규칙한 높은 벽은 20세기 서로 다른 시기의 산업 건축이 중첩된 흔적을 드러내고, 넓은 유리면을 가진 돔형 철근 콘크리트 구조 옆으로 트윈 박공지붕으로 볼륨이 이어진다.

공간은 시선의 열림과 닫힘이 교차하는 시퀀스로 구성되며, 정원과 공원 녹지 사이의 관계를 형성한다. 중간 슬래브 없는 두 층 높이의 더블 하이트 거실과 정원, 그리고 이를 연결하는 핵심 장치는 목재로 프레이밍된 유리벽이다. 신축 볼륨은 기존 외벽 내부에 컴팩트하게 배치되며, 유리 파사드는 수직적 리듬을 강조하며 지붕 구조로 이어진다.
