The architects articulated the concept with an intuitive approach. A linear pool runs along the ground floor, framed by white walls, timber accents, marble steps, and landscaping, while sunbeds and stools atop the marble reinforce the spatial narrative. The same stone extends onto the second-floor terrace, evoking a relaxed coastal lifestyle. At the client’s request, the roof is finished in textured, European-style thatch, a material the studio has since used in other Belgian coastal projects. The robust exterior contrasts with warm, refined interiors, where comfort, craftsmanship, and regional references enrich the residence throughout.
