Taizhou Rongzhuang Restaurant, located in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, China, captures the region’s landscape and cultural sensibility, creating a gastronomic space where tradition and modernity quietly intersect. Rather than directly reproducing familiar elements of Chinese tradition, the design reinterprets them through materials, light, and structural rhythm. Deep, rich tones, restrained ornamentation, and softly filtered light add a sense of calm tension to the space, allowing the experience to unfold as a continuous scene from the moment of waiting for a meal to the time spent within the restaurant.

중국 저장성 타이저우의 풍경과 문화적 정서를 담아낸 Taizhou Rongzhuang (타이저우 룽즈장) 레스토랑은 전통과 현대가 조용히 교차하는 미식 공간이다. 익숙한 중국의 전통적 요소를 직접적으로 재현하기보다, 공간을 구성하는 재료와 빛, 구조적 리듬을 통해 그 의미를 새롭게 해석했다. 깊이감 있는 색채와 절제된 장식, 자연스럽게 스며드는 빛은 공간에 차분한 긴장감을 형성하며, 식사를 기다리는 순간부터 머무는 시간까지 하나의 장면으로 이어지게 한다.
