The space begins like a ritual from the moment it passes through t he t emple's r ed p rose. Fanglu L in's u nique t ie-dye textiles, knots, and dyed fabrics are hung over old stone and wooden structures, creating a scene where the timeliness of the past and modern fashion coexist. SKYnoa did not use this place as a simple exhibition hall, but used the "architecture with accumulated time" itself as an exhibition medium.

 

공간은 사찰의 붉은 산문(山門)을 통과하는 순간부터 하나의 의식처럼 시작된다. 오래된 석재와 목조 구조 위로 린팡루(Fanglu Lin) 특유의 타이다이 텍스타일과 매듭, 염색 천들이 드리워지며 과거의 시간성과 현대 패션이 공존하는 장면을 만든다. SKYnoa는 이 장소를 단순한 전시장으로 사용하지 않고, ‘시간이 축적된 건축’ 자체를 하나의 전시 매체로 활용했다.

At the entrance, an installation inspired by the landscape in which indigo dyeing fabric is dried was placed. Redwood structures, fabrics, natural stones, and posters overlap to induce the experience as if entering a traditional dyeing workshop. Visitors directly retract the cloth stretched like a curtain and enter the interior, which is not just a movement line but an act of passing through layers of crafts. One space of the temple is composed of an atmosphere reminiscent of an actual "dyeing studio." Indigo blue colors were applied as if permeating the walls and floors, and twisted fiber installations are suspended in the air over structures reminiscent of a dyeing tank.

 

입구에는 인디고 염색 천이 건조되는 풍경에서 착안한 설치물이 배치되었다. 삼나무 구조물과 천, 자연석, 포스터 등이 겹치며 마치 전통 염색 공방으로 들어가는 듯한 경험을 유도한다. 방문자는 커튼처럼 늘어진 천을 직접 젖히고 내부로 진입하게 되는데, 이는 단순한 동선이 아니라 공예의 레이어를 통과하는 행위처럼 연출된다. 사찰의 한쪽 공간은 실제 ‘염색 작업실’을 연상시키는 분위기로 구성됐다. 인디고 블루 컬러가 벽과 바닥에 스며들 듯 적용되었고, 염색 수조를 떠올리게 하는 구조물 위로 꼬인 섬유 설치물이 공중에 매달려 있다.
